"THE TRUMP/FASCISM CONNECTION"

DEFINING FASCISM FOR FASCISTS: Fascism is a far-right, ultranationalist 
authoritarian ideology that seeks to unite society around a mythologized 
national past ("Make America Great Again") and a strongman leader (Donald 
Trump), while portraying minorities (immigrants, LGBTQ+ people) and 
perceived internal enemies (Antifa, BLM, Democrats) as threats to the 
nation. 

Its hallmarks include suppression of political dissent (ICE murdering 
protesters) and democratic institutions (the erosion of our political norms), 
propaganda and control of information (the Ellison purchase of 
CBS/Paramount, attempts to silence Kimmel/Colbert/The View, etc.), 
scapegoating of marginalized groups (again, trans people and immigrants 
come to mind), glorification of military and police power (ICE ICE Baby!), 
political violence or intimidation (voter intimidation), and the subordination 
of individual rights to the supposed interests of the nation.
